Jalie Scarf Top

Lots of sewing has been happening but I'm behind on updating the blog.

Back in the summer, I found on etsy 5 meters of chocolate brown merino wool knit for only $50 with shipping. It's a beautiful fabric, it definetly pays to get high quality fabric.

First up I decided to try out Jalie's Scarf Top. This pattern has been around quite some time and I now know why it's so popular. Jalie does great patterns and this one in no exception. I love way the scarf is finished and I like the fact the pattern directions are written as you have a serger.  So many knit patterns still assume that you are using your sewing machine.

I hadn't cover stitched the hems yet in this photo. It s very comfy and will make a good wardrobe basic. I will definetly make more of these tops.
